Google is Upset About Hophunt While it Worries About Microhoo

Google is concerned about the merger of Microsoft and Yahoo (MicroHoo), but quite upset about this new small site ... Firstly, it is not surprising why Google worrying about this thing MicroHoo deal ... Yahoo is the number most trafficked site on the Internet, Windows Live is in third place and Google is only in fourth place according to Alexa Traffic Rank. MicroHoo can easily combine monetize their traffic and research to offer their users ... it could lead to a significant decline in users of Google in search traffic. In addition, Microsoft can also easily monetize their desktop applications and make field research in each of them. This could lead to the decline of Google search users traffic. Is this the end of the domination of Google search engine world, or is this the beginning of its extinction? Maybe not. According to comScore June 2007 Search Engine ratings to the USA for June 2007 ... Google still has the general cake: Google Network: 49.5%, down from 50.7% in May 2007 Yahoo network: 25.1%, down 26.4% Microsoft Network: 13.2% up 10.3% MicroHoo network: 38.30%, but note that Microsoft network share is increasing and if this trend will continue, MicroHoo will soon fly most of Google Network, part of the big cake. However, it will take years of battle for Google to lose its dominant position in search engine world ... But why Google is disrupted on HopHunt? Well, we do not know exactly where this new break losing the first. We did not really shocked if Google really on HopHunt but we would like to know the real score ... Perhaps because HopHunt offers $ 100000 ppc ads for free and that would mean or lead to significant decrease of Google AdWords advertisers. Say, 1000 advertisers will recover $ 100000 ppc offer free, it would mean losing a potential 100 million dollars of revenue by Google. What if 10000, 20000, 50000, 100000 and more advertisers enter the free $ 100000 ppc? Just do the calculation. Now, is this the beginning of extinction Google? Not really. Well, HopHunt does not ring a bell and it does not have much traffic. Who cares? But with the rising cost of pay-per-click (PPC) and paid ads traffic, HopHunt ppc free offer is very difficult to resist, indeed. When Google began on the Internet, it has not been a lot of traffic but also is now the fourth most trafficked site on the Internet. Think of HopHunt ... one, two or three years from now, there is no doubt that he will also get more traffic and steal some from the big pie. But still, it will take years to prove and Google will not bother anyway on HopHunt. The only thing that interferes Google at the moment is MicroHoo, the merger of the two Behemoth online Microsoft and Yahoo.
